Procedure: This patient had a Breast Lift performed via Pectoral Sling Autoaugmenting Mastopexy. This technique is a modification of a vertical breast reduction, differing in that it conserves and uses the tissue that is normally discarded to achieve perky breasts with superior fullness. The interior most tissue that is usually removed in a vertical breast lift is transposed under a sling of pectoralis muscle and fascia and secured in the superior pole of the breast. Usually, vertical reductions develop a scooped out upper pole. The pectoral sling technique avoids this and creates an augmented appearing fullness with no hollowing. No tissue was removed.
