Dr. Maercks was the final craniofacial and aesthetic fellow trained by the legendary Fernando Ortiz-Monasterio, giving him the opportunity to refine his surgical techniques under the guidance of one of the true masters of craniofacial surgery. This international training has played a defining role in his approach to modern aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
